FINDLAY, Ohio - The Lewis women's soccer team claimed an early 1-0 lead, but was unable to hang on, as Concord College (W.V.) scored two second-half goals to beat the Flyers 2-1.

Senior Michelle Sternbauer (Caroline Kenny assist) scored her second goal of the season at 16:43 to initiate the scoring in the game.

However, Concord's Leanna Neuner scored once at the 68:00 mark and again ten minutes later to lift Concord (2-3) to the victory.

Lewis managed seven shots on goal to Concord's four, but was only able to find the back of the net once.

The loss drops Lewis to 2-4 on the season. The Flyers play Findlay at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
