EDINBURGH, Ind. - Lewis sophomore Lyndsey Krieger carded consecutive rounds of 79 to finish at 158 and tie for eighth place among 44 golfers at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Flyers were seventh in the nine-team field, shooting rounds of 350 and 353 to finish at 703. Southern Illinois Edwardsville posted a 615 to win the team title, and Northern Kentucky's Kim Keyer-Scott (147) was the medallist. Also for Lewis, Chantelle Mika (88-88=176) finished 32nd, Michelle Dudek (90-88=178) placed 33rd and Amanda Lagerhausen (93-98=191) tied for 37th. The tournament was played Sunday and Monday at the par-72 Timbergate Golf Club. |
