VALPARAISO, Ind. - Valparaiso collected 20 hits off seven Lewis pitchers and defeated the Flyers 20-0 in a non-conference baseball game Thursday afternoon. The Flyers (13-26) were held to five hits. Matt Newquist had a pair of doubles to lead Lewis, and Victor Naut and Mike Loprieno also doubled for the Flyers. Lewis returns to Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Brennan Field this weekend, hosting Northern Kentucky in doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday. Game time both days is noon. |
