March 3, 2004 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Lewis was limited to four hits Wednesday in a 5-1 loss to Nova Southeastern. Chris Carbonaro's solo home run leading off the fourth inning gave the Flyers (3-5) a 1-0 lead, but that was all the scoring Lewis would manage. Nova Southeastern (12-6) tallied three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth off Flyer starting pitcher Greg Moss (0-2). Moss allowed nine hits, did not walk a batter and struck out three in seven innings. The Flyers begin a three-game series at Lynn Thursday. |
