Feb. 28, 2005 BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lewis collected 10 hits Monday but dropped a 15-5 non-conference baseball decision to Mercyhurst. Brandon Niewinski, Mike Loprieno and Victor Naut each collected a single, double and RBI for the Flyers, who slipped to 0-4. Kevin Tyrrell hit his second home run of the season in the first inning, and Mike Smith had a double. Mercyhurst (1-3) had 15 hits and played errorless defense, while the Flyers committed five miscues. Freshman hurler Jon Crettol absorbed the loss. |
