Dec. 4, 2006 ROMEOVILLE, Ill.--Saturdays will be a day for families during the 2006-07 Lewis University basketball season, with Lewis partnering with the NCAA to participate in the Take A Kid to the Game program. At every Saturday home game, Lewis will offer two (2) free children's admissions (8th grade and younger) for each $6 adult ticket purchased. "We are pleased to extend the invitation to the community as we invite adults to bring children to experience collegiate athletic events," said Brian Summers, Assistant Director of Athletics. "It is our hope that this program will help generate record turn outs as more children are able to take advantage of this truly memorable experience and worth-while program. We are excited about the high-quality basketball that fans will have a chance to watch." Lewis will have home games on four Saturdays during the 2006-07 season. All four dates will be men's and women's doubleheaders, with the men's game commencing 30 minutes following the conclusion of the women's game. Take A Kid to the Game Saturdays at Lewis University for 2006-07 are: Dec. 30 (women - Grand Valley State, men - Carthage), Jan. 6 (m/w - Northern Kentucky), Jan. 27 (m/w - Kentucky Wesleyan), and Feb. 17 (m/w - Indianapolis).
